the Idol sounds like a mess

"From the sick and twisted minds of Sam Levinson and The Weekend" comes The Idol...eventually. We don't actually have a solid release date at this time (but it is going to be shown at Cannes Film Festival). I was intrigued in the idea of the The Idol when the trailer dropped because I love a good cult story, the the Rolling Stone article came out.
